Raw Batana Oil for Hair and Scalp

Batana oil comes from the nut of the American palm and has been used by the Miskito people of Honduras for generations to keep hair thick, dark and glossy. It is rich, dense and unrefined, which is exactly why it works so well on dry, brittle or damaged hair that has lost its bounce.

What it does

• Deep repair for dry, damaged hair. Packed with fatty acids and vitamin E that coat and condition each strand from root to tip.
• Strengthens against breakage. Regular use helps reduce split ends and snapping, so hair holds its length.
• Nourishes the scalp. Massaged into the roots it leaves the scalp conditioned and hair looking fuller and healthier.

How to use

Batana is a solid balm at room temperature. Warm a small amount between your palms until it melts, then massage into the scalp and work through the lengths. Leave in for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for a deep treatment, then shampoo out. Use one to three times a week. It has a strong natural, earthy scent that washes out.
